Hi guys......just taking time out to let you know the latest on the muddied road of music travels which we start upon...So the duck and Drake has now re established itself has the premier music venue in Leeds on a weekend, its been a long hard toil of changin managers, bad management poor management, but through it all the music lovers have kept it going and I hope in some small way I have contributed to keeping the music rolling its been like a marriage really..Anyway everything changes and with the new owners a new era has started, and, from next year I will noe be doing the thursday nights at the duck and drake and the sundays music session will now be run by Simon , so to all the friends I have built up over the past nine years I send my thanks for your support and making my weekends an enjoyable and wonderfull time,

Fridays at Hoagies....new venues who I am in negotiations with will follow on this web site, unless you have any suggestions, my Saturdays and sundays are free from now on.....I look forward to seeing both old friends and music lovers at next years events,

bloozpromoz present live music shows in Leeds and yorkshire. Live bands of all tastes including rock ,blues accoustic and even punk. We also present jam nights, a very pleasant informal evening.
we are pleased to announce that we have been invited to promote the bands at the owl festival on Monday 31st August.....beer and music...yum yum.
I personally welcome the chance to support another live music festival because thats what the people of Leeds need...

the Green Submarine Band, blues and r'n'b from some great youngish talents from some people whos talents have been one way or another part of the Leeds scene for the past 9 years,
Ryan Spendlove.......now if you have not seen this guy you have got to watch him. ex frontman from the blueskins, with a voice you will immediately recognise as something of pure class,
the Old Glory band.....a mixture of blues and rock with touches of steely dan and many more...
the Decades.....a favourite of all leeds music lovers belaying their tender years this north yorks band will rock your socks off.....
to finish the outdoor stage we have Voodoo Van Boogie......blues and rock from this sheffield power trio,sure you will be impressed if you have not seen them yet
